• Wednesday 11 June 2025 600 Pupils Get Creative for Sussex Kelp! This year, more than 600 pupils across our family of schools embarked on an exciting creative journey with Artswork to bring the Sussex Kelp Recovery Project to life!
• Friday 9 May 2025 Children Flourish at River Beach Primary Says Ofsted River Beach Primary, which joined our multi-academy trust in 2013, has been told by Ofsted that children flourish at the school. The inspection confirmed that the school is Good in all areas, including the quality of education and behaviour.
• Friday 25 April 2025 New Headteacher Joins Edward Bryant School We are delighted to have appointed a new headteacher at Edward Bryant School in Bognor Regis. Mrs Rebecca Misselbrook took up her post at the school at the start of the summer term in April 2025 and will work alongside us to lead the school’s 81 staff and over 600 pupils. Edward Bryant was the first school to join our multi-academy trust when it was formed in 2012.

• Wednesday 5 March 2025 Successful Ofsted Visit for Rustington Community Primary Rustington Community Primary, which joined Schoolsworks in 2013, has enjoyed a successful inspection from Ofsted. The inspection confirmed that the school is Good in all areas, including the quality of education and pupil’s development.
• Tuesday 7 January 2025 Medmerry Primary celebrates a positive Ofsted visit In November 2024 the team at Medmerry Primary School welcomed Ofsted for the school’s first inspection since 2018. Although single word judgements have now been removed by Ofsted, the subsequent report praised Medmerry confirming that the school has maintained progress since first being judged as Good in 2010. The inspector noted that Medmerry’s pupils love coming to school and feel safe. They also commended the children’s positive behaviour and attitude to learning.

• Tuesday 10 December 2024 Welcoming Summerlea as our tenth primary school Summerlea Community Primary School has joined our Trust, following its conversion to an academy. The school is based in Rustington and supports 396 pupils and 63 staff. Summerlea is the tenth school to join our Trust, linking with our network of South Coast schools in West Sussex.

• Thursday 11 July 2024 Celebrating Ofsted Success at Whytemead Primary School Celebrating Ofsted Success at Whytemead Primary School Whytemead Primary School in Worthing, which joined Schoolsworks three years ago, has been awarded a Good rating following a two day inspection by Ofsted in June 2024. The school was judged to be a ‘very happy’ place to learn, with good judgements in all areas and an outstanding grading for pupil’s behaviour and attitudes.
